Indian Institute of Technologies are the top ranked universities in the Country. They provide technical education in various fields. Entrance to these universities is held through the Joint Entrance Examination. The Joint Entrance Examination is also used as criteria for joining Undergraduate Courses in engineering for National Institutes of Technology, Indian Institutes of Information Technology and any other Central Government funded institutes.
The Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2015 was conducted by the seven Indian Institute of technology. Joint Admission Board (JAB) guided the IITs in conducting the test.

Highlights of the IIT JEE 2015
- http://jeeadv.iitb.ac.in/ is the portal through which candidates registered for the examination.
- The registration for the exam was between Saturday, May 2, 2015 10:00 IST and Thursday, May 7, 2015 17:00 IST.
- The examination was held on Sunday, May 24, 2015.
- The examination consisted of two papers, Paper 1 held between 09:00 to 12:00 IST and paper 2 held between 14:00 to 17:00 IST
- Admit cards were available for download to all candidates who have registered for the JEE (Advanced) 2015.
- A copy of the Admit card must be submitted by the candidate during the time of examination.
- Original Admit card is provided during the time of Paper 1.
- The results of the examination were released on the 1st of July 2015.
- The rank obtained by was showcased for all qualifying candidates.
